Description:
A guideline (.sef) file has been set up for an X12 operation which includes a UserKey value for one of the fields. The UserKey field does not appear with some trading partners, but appears with others in the audit log. How to correct this?

Environment

BusinessConnect EDI Protocol 6.5.0 and aboveAll platforms

Resolution

Make sure that "Enable EDI validation" is checked under the trading partners's X12 or EDIFACT General tab. The UserKey will only be generated if validation is enabled.
