After installing the TIBCO(R) Adapter for SWIFT the bwengine.tra file is not updated. When running the adapter it will throw the error: "There was an error locating the Metadata. Please make sure that you have the 'data' folder in the metadata folder.".

Cause:

The bwengine.tra file is not updated after installing the TIBCO(R) Adapter for SWIFT.
Resolution:

Go to <BW_Home>\bin, open the bwengine.tra and update the following line:
java.property.ADSWIFT_DATA=/opt/tibco/adapter/adswift/5.8/bin/data
