Description:
TIBCO Adapter for EJB 5.3.0 now supports TRA 5.7.1 or higher 5.7.x, in addition to the currently supported TRA versions listed in the product documentation.  The only TRA features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO Adapter for EJB.

Limitation and Restrictions:

Please note that a Security Advisory was announced on February 1, 2011 for TRA 5.7.0 (http://www.tibco.com/services/support/advisories/), so Support for TRA 5.7.0 has not been added to TIBCO Adapter for EJB 5.3.0. For further inquires about Support for TRA 5.7.0, please contact TIBCO Support.

For HP Itanium, TIBCO Adapter for EJB 5.3.0 supports 64-bit TRA executable.  
For all other platforms, TIBCO Adapter for EJB 5.3.0 supports 32-bit and 64-bit TRA executables.

Configuration:
============
Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.7.1, 5.7.2, 5.7.3, and 5.7.4, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Please refer to SOL1-BHBRDL for detailed configuration steps.

In order to run the adapter with the 64-bit TRA package (which uses the 64-bit JVM), a workaround must be implemented. For workaround details, see SOL1-C9RZZX: How to run adapters developed using TIBCO Adapter (R) SDK(Java) with 64-bit TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) (TRA) 5.7.x .
