Description:

Universal Installer Fails to startup. ERROR: No product installation configuration files were located.

Following entries in installer.log found under:
&ltUSER_HOME>\.TIBCO\install_MM-DD-YYYYY.hhmmss\tibco_universal_installer.&ltUSERNAME>_install.log

Environment:

TIBCO Runtime Agent(TRA) 5.7.x ,
TIBCO Administrator 5.7.x,
All TIBCO products using Universal Installer
Operating Systems: Windows 7.
  

Symptoms:
=========
Universal Installer pop-up error "err.TIBINS202802"

Cause:
======
Issue is caused due to Universal Installer not being able to find installation configuration files in same directory.

Resolution:
===========
Unzip TIBCO Runtime Agent(TRA)/TIBCO Administrator. Install zip files to a directory and invoke Universal Installer from that directory.
