TIBCO is officially ending support for 5.5, and 6.x releases of TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for SAP.  This action will take effect on December 31, 2016.
The purpose of this notification is to officially communicate this policy and request that you migrate as soon as possible, to a supported release of the product 7.x. Please check the TIBCO Product Download Site (http://download.tibco.com) for the most recent release when planning your upgrade.
Also note that if you plan to upgrade to 7.x of the adapter, please also consider looking up the plugin version of this adapter: TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plugin for SAP Solutions which supports TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.x infrastructure.

During the next 12 months, Support will answer product questions, but enhancements and service pack releases will not be provided.
Service Requests on 5.5.0 and 6.x will no longer be accepted after December 31, 2016(except for customers who purchased extended support of v6.2.1).

The support and maintenance of the "classic" RFC-library will end on March 31, 2016. This means that issues with the "classic" RFC library will not be supported anymore, bugs discovered after this date will not be fixed and it cannot be guaranteed that communication between SAP systems with new releases and the external programs using the "classic" RFC library will work. For this reason it is highly recommended to change the external programs to use the "NW" RFC library instead of the "classic" RFC library.

TIBCO Support Knowledge Base articles will continue to be available from the TIBCO Support Web and available hot fixes will continue to be available from the TIBCO Product Support ftp server to all customers beyond the retirement date.

No Extended Support is offered on version 5.5, 6.0 and 6.1.  TIBCO will provide Extended Support for version 6.2.1 for 12 months until December 31 2017.


Version 6.2.1 extended support limitations:

The support for SAP systems will be limited, for example, we remove the ".x" support from SAP ECC 6.0.x. We will support:
SAP ECC 6.0 - up to Enhancement package 7
SAP SCM 7.0 - up to Enhancement package 3
SAP CRM 7.0 - up to Enhancement package 3
SAP SRM 7.0 - up to Enhancement package 3

For the SAP JCo libraries, only v3.0.14 is supported 
Windows 32-bit platform is not supported
Solaris SPARC and Solaris x86 platforms are not supported

TIBCO Adapter SDK 5.8.0 HF6 and TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for SAP Software v6.2.1 HF6
TIBCO Rendezvous(R) 8.4.5 and higher
TIBCO Enterprise Message Service(TM) 8.3.0 and higher
TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) 5.9.x and 5.10
TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks(TM) 5.11, 5.12, and 5.13
