Description

With Teradata JDBC driver version 15.10.00.14, trying to fetch morethan 10000 records via Information Services may throw the following error:

Caused by: com.spotfire.ws.im.IMException: Failed to execute query: [Teradata JDBC Driver] [TeraJDBC 15.10.00.14] [Error 804] [SQLState 08S01] Socket communication failure for Packet receive

Resolution

This is caused by the JDBC driver incompatibility. To resolve this issue, use the latest & compatible JDBC driver.
