Resolution:
For silent installation of EMS, the properties file can specify a custom location for the configuration with
‘&ltentry key="configDirectoryRoot"&gtC:\\tibco\\ems\\5.1\\conf</entry>’

However, when the silent install finishes, configuration is location at
‘C:\tibco\ems\5.1\conf \tibco\cfgmgmt\ems\data’

With the GUI install mode, on the screen where the location for configuration can be specified the following text is displayed:

‘Subdirectories “tibco/cfgmgmt” will be appended to your path.’

This is not clear with the silent install, as there is no output from the silent install.
