BDKF-1967  KafkaConsumer is not safe for multi-threaded access;
ConcurrentModificationException in Receive Message activity (manual commit mode)
and spurious CommitFailedException fault in GetMessages activity during consumer
group rebalance (auto-commit mode); consumer handle is also leaked on exception
in the auto-commit path
