This article lists the basic troubleshooting steps to resolve the "TIBCO Data Virtualization server didn't send any data" that occurs when the user tries to load the manager page on <base_port>+2. Please find the attached screenshot of the issue.
Issue/Introduction
This article lists the basic troubleshooting steps to resolve the "TIBCO Data Virtualization server didn't send any data" error that occurs when the user tries to load the manager page on +2. By default, the TIBCO Data Virtualization base port is 9400, then the secured port would be 9402.
This port needs to be exposed for SSL TIBCO Data Virtualization HTTP access.

Resolution
The initial point to examine when a user faces this issue is whether the HTTP/s protocol is enabled in TIBCO Data Virtualization Studio. Navigate to Studio Configuration -> Server -> Web Services Interface -> Communications -> HTTP/s -> Enabled. Make sure that this is set to True (see HTTPS.png).
Secondly, the user should check if the configuration "Need Client Authentication" is disabled in TIBCO Data Virtualization Studio. Navigate to Studio Configuration -> Server -> Communications -> Need Client Authentication. Make sure this is set to False (see NCA.png). If set to True, clients(Chrome/Soap UI) are required to present a digital certificate to verify their identity to a TDV server. This process provides mutual authentication since both the server and the client authenticate each other.
NOTE: This setting should be disabled only if the customer is not using mutual authentication.
Frequently, following an upgrade, migration, or other significant changes to the TIBCO Data Virtualization server, these configurations undergo alterations. It is advisable to carefully review these configurations before proceeding with any further investigation.
