During the TIBCO Scribe Insight installation, you must select an instance of Microsoft SQL Server where the ScribeInternal.db should be installed.  If the version of SQL Server you are using is older than SQL 2008, the installation of the database may fail with the following error: 
 

 

Resolution

64 Bit Operating Systems

Run the SQLServer2005_BC_x64.msi file located in the TIBCO Scribe installation folder: C:\ScribeInsight791_x64\Setup

32 Bit Operating Systems

Run the SQLServer2005_BC.msi file located in the TIBCO Scribe installation folder: C:\ScribeInsight791_x32\Setup

After Running The MSI File

When that installation is complete, restart the TIBCO Scribe Insight Installation to create and configure a new ScribeInternal Database.
The creation of the ScribeInternal database may take a while, but eventually completes.
