This issue may be due to:
- insufficient free physical memory
- workspace meta-data corruption
- environment variable values that alter how Studio is configured
- Studio preferences corruption
Please try each of the following: - Reboot your system and try starting Studio again. If this works then whatever was the problem was a transient condition on this system.
- Open the StreamBase Command Prompt, type 'set' and for any custom STREAMBASE_* environment variable, set it to empty (For StreamBase 7.7 and prior you should only have STREAMBASE_HOME set, and confirm it is correct. Unset this environment variable for Streaming 10.x and later). Set CLASSPATH to empty. Set JAVA_HOME to empty. Run Studio using that environment.
- Open the StreamBase Command Prompt, cd into C:\tibco\sb-cep\X.y\lib\studio, run sbstudio.exe.
- Remove the contents of the "StreamBase Studio Configuration Directory" to revert Studio to its default configuration. The location of this directory is documented in the Help topic: TIBCO Streaming > Installation Guide > Default Installation Directories
If none of the above works, for StreamBase 7.7 please run '
sbhealth >sbhealth.log' from the StreamBase Command Prompt, and provide the resulting log file to
Support in a case for analysis. For Streaming 10.x and later, open a Support case and provide the complete error message.
