Sometimes users might observe the message that "The Statistica license file needs to be updated within z days" even after applying the updated license file.

Environment

Windows

Resolution

For Concurrent or Network installs :
  
  1. backup old license files from the location
  • <local drive>:\Program Files (x86)\StatSoft\FLEXlm\  
  • <local drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\FLEXlm\ 
  • <local drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Statistca\FLEXlm\
    2. Delete all old (.bak) license files from the above mentioned location.

For Desktop installs:

 
  1. backup old license files from the location
         <local drive>:\Program Files\TIBCO\Statistca\

  2. Delete all old (.bak) license files from the mentioned location.
         <local drive>:\Program Files\TIBCO\Statistca\

Note:  Restart the Licensing service on the server.
