Resolution:
To find out what JAVA version a Tibco Products uses, you need to open associated TRA file (in case of Designer, it is Designer.tra) and look for
parameter "tibco.env.TIB_JAVA_HOME C:/tibco/jre/1.5.0". This will tell you what java version it uses. In fact by default TRA is bundled with an JRE version which will be installed during TRA installation in folder "C:\TIBCO\jre".
