The default character limit for TIBCO Data Virtualization Active Directory columns is 2000. After the first 2000 characters, the rest of the information is truncated. This article talks about how this configuration can be changed in TDV. 

Steps to be followed to change the column size limit for TDV Active Directory data source:

1) Open the Active Directory data source in TDV Studio.

2) On the Connections tab, scroll down to the field called 'Other'. Set the 'DefaultColumnSize' property value according to your requirement in this field and 'Save' it.
Example for reference: "DefaultColumnSize=35000"



3) After adding the property, delete and re-introspect all the resources/tables under the AD data source. The option Add/ Remove resources can be used for this purpose.
