Description
This article explains the steps to follow in order to change the user running cache requests in TIBCO Data Virtualization. This username is seen in the requests panel when cache refresh is performed.
Resolution
For cache requests started from TDV Studio, by default TDV takes the username/user credentials saved against the cache datasource to perform all runtime cache refresh operations including cache refresh of the cache data. To change the user running cache requests (as seen in the requests panel), we need to change the owner on the cache data base.
To change the ownership of a resource:
1. In the resource tree, select the resource to change its ownership
2. Select Resource > Change Owner of , or right-click on the resource name and select Change Resource Owner.
The current owner’s user name and domain are displayed, and a list of new owners with their user names and domains.
3. Select a new owner’s user name from the User drop-down list.
4. Optionally, check the 'Apply the change recursively' check box.
