Issue/Introduction
How to secure connections in TIBCO Data Virtualization ?
Resolution
1. Launch TIBCO Data Virtualization Studio. Navigate to Administration>>Configuration
2. Search "ssl" in the Find text box or navigate to Client Drivers>>Communications>>Non-SSL Enabled and set this to false and click on Apply
3. Look for "http" in the find box or navigate to Server>> Web Services Interface>>Communications>>HTTP >>Disable HTTP (On Server Restart) and set this to true and click on Apply
4. Restart Server for changes to take effect.
To further restrict SSL protocols used in TIBCO Data Virtualization, follow instructions in KB article : https://support.tibco.com/s/article/How-to-restrict-additional-SSL-protocols-in-TIBCO-Data-Virtualization
