Description
Sometimes TIBCO Data Virtualization might log the "ERROR AUDIT Invalid session id" error message in the cs_server_events file. This article provides possible scenarios which would generate this audit error.
Environment
Windows/Linux
Resolution
The primary reason for such a message to get logged in cs_server_event log is if any request is trying to use the invalid session id.
In some cases, the session becomes invalid if idle time is over a certain limit or the admin has terminated manually. So the mentioned error message gets logged if any request tries to use such invalid sessions. This is considered as audit data/event hence it is captured as AUDIT. TIBCO Data Virtualization does not automatically generate the audit data on a regular basis except in such scenarios.
For more information on this, the customer may need to check the cs_server/cs_server_client logs around the same timeframe.
