Description

When the user opens the Manager Panel of TIBCO Data Virtualization Studio to see the information the text is replaced with the "..." symbol and less information is provided on the tab. Also, some users faced that while using the SQL Script, the cursor is not pointing to the correct location. Let's talk about how to fix this problem so that additional information may be seen in the Manager tab without having the text rendered in Studio.

In this article will discuss about how to solve the problem of text getting rendered in the Manager Panel of TIBCO Data Virtualization Studio.

The information that is presented in the table is significantly less when the user accesses the Manager tab to view and analyse any data, and the last three characters are changed to "...". So the user needs to drag the column from left to right or vice-versa to view additional details. As TIBCO Data Virtualization Studio's default font is Monospaced and that's why character's are replaced with "..." as shown below.

In the image above, the Information that is mentioned is much less as one can see in the table. So user needs to expand the column to view the full information.

Users must use Times New Roman with a size of 14 in order to prevent this problem, and the table's overall content will be displayed.
Below are the steps that need to be performed to change the font setting:
- Open TIBCO Data Virtualization Studio.
- Navigate to Edit >> Options.
- Change the font to Times New Roman in the General and Editor tab with a font size of 14.
- Restart the TIBCO Data Virtualization Studio after making the changes so that it will take effect.
- Go to the Session and Request tab and see whether the complete String is displayed or it is replaced with ... in the end.

After changing the font to Times New Roman the example of the table is shown below:
