Description

In a Cross table when you have columns with "DATE" data type in either of the Axes(Vertical or Horizontal) and if we try making changes to any of the columns in the axes,(i.e. Add or remove columns from the axes, or modify the sequence for the columns in the axes), it is observed that a column having date data type gets a BinByDateTime slider added to the column.

As the BinByDateTime slider is added, it could be seen that the particular column which initially represented DATE values, is now changed to Month(["DATE"]).

Issue/Introduction

Add/Remove or changing sequence of columns (of type Date) from Cross Table behaves unexpectedly

Resolution

It is due to the BinByDateTime Slider that the column is changed to a Month(["DATE"]) value in the axes. The workaround in this situations could be removing the BinByDateTime Slider from the custom expression in the axes and then writing the custom expression again.
Removing the BinByDateTime Slider shall ensure that the column displays the "DATE" values itself and not values for any of the DATE function.

Attached Screenshots in the document could be referred for a further detailed understanding of the behaviour for the crosstable.
