Troubleshoot Dynamics AX Labels

After the installation process of the TIBCO Scribe Dynamicx AX adapter is completed, you must manually add the installed product label file to the Microsoft Dynamics AX application folder. This is necessary to integrate new labels and messages to Microsoft Dynamics AX. Sometimes AX does not display the correct label names in the Scribe Common Form. It displays them as @SCR15 or @SCR8.

Resolution

Try closing the AX client and restarting the Dynamics AOS service. If this does not resolve the issue, delete the axSCRen-us.alc and axSCRen-us.ali from the Microsoft Dynamics AX application folder and restart the Dynamics AOS service. The installation folder is typically located here: ..\Microsoft Dynamics AX\<your version of AX>\Application\Appl\<name of your AOS instance>

This clears the AX cache, permits the files to be recreated and should display the correct labels.
