If the Statistica workstations cannot be installed as detailed in : https://support.tibco.com/s/article/Concurrent-Network-License-CNET-installation-steps due to a locked-down license server, is there an alternate way to install Statistica workstations?

Alternative Solution One (Preferred)

The workstation installer uses all the files in the Workstation Installer folder and also uses the pointer license file, stat.lic,  in the parent folder (Statistica 13 in the example below).  Alternatively, the Workstation Installer 64 (or 32) folder can be copied to any location, along with the necessary pointer license file,  directly to the workstation or to a network share, then the setup.exe can be used to install Statistica on workstations.
 

Here are the steps to perform the alternative method of installing Statistica on workstations (assumes the server installation has be successfully completed):

1.  Create a new folder on the network share (or workstation itself) and name it something like Statistica Workstation Installer Files.

2.  On the server, copy the Workstation Installer 64 (or 32 or both) folder and then paste into the new folder in step 1.  Typical location of the Workstation Installer folders on the server are <local drive>:\Program Files\Statistica\Statistica 13\:

3.  Copy the stat.lic in the Statistica 13, on the server, and paste to the folder in step 1:

4.  Open the Workstation Installer 64 (or 32) folder in the new folder.  Double-click on the setup.exe file to begin the installation wizard:

Note:  The new folder can be used in any accessible location. 

Alternative Solution Two

If the solution one detailed above will not work, the full installer can be used to install each workstation.
1.  Launch Setup.exe as an administrator and enter the key details
2. Select "Custom" Install in The Setup Type Dialog of the installer.
3. Deselect all components other than Statistica (including License Manager Service)
4. The installer will prompt for the location of the ClientSTAT.tmp file. Point to the typical location of this file on the license Server - <local server drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Statistica\FLEXlm\. If the server is not available due to Server Security, this file can be copied from the server to a folder on the local machine.
5. Complete the installation.
