An error is seen when running McAfee Compliance Reports with LSP18 and Compliance Suite 3.1.
This issue is seen in the following packages: FISMA.xml, HIPAA.xml, ISO27002.xml, ITIL.xml, NERC.xml, and COBIT.xml.
Issue/Introduction
This article provides a resolution for when an error is seen when running McAfee Compliance Reports using LSP18 with a compliance suites.
Resolution
In order to resolve this issue, the <deviceType> value in all the Compliance Suite(CS) reports need to be changed from
<deviceType>McAfeeVirusScanEnterprise</deviceType>
to
<deviceType>McAfeeEPO</deviceType>
prior to importing the CS suite. If the Compliance Suite has already been imported then delete the objects, make the change in the XML file then re-import.
