Description

Opening an analysis file from library (that is based on Salesforce Data Connector) via Spotfire Automation services job(Execute on Server) may fail with the following error message:

Unavailable connector:
The 'Salesforce.com' data connector is not available.

Reason:
The Salesforce ODBC driver is not available.

Resolution

Make sure the Salesforce ODBC driver is installed on the Node Manager machine and the Node Manager service has been restarted after the driver installation..

Note: Starting from Spotfire version 7.14, no Salesforce driver installation is needed as it is a part of the installation media.
