Statistica has built-in OLE DB and ADO.NET connectors available that can be used to connect to Tibco Data Virtualization data sources.
To test the connection, one can go to Statistica ribbon bar menu "Home | Open | Open External Data | Create Query", a "Database Connection" dialog will appear. The "New OLE DB" and "New ADO.NET" options will be available to choose from.
For example, if one clicks on "New OLE DB" option, the "Data Link Property" dialog will pop up. User will need to choose a right Provider for the interested database, click "Next", then user will be required to specify the Server name, login credentials, and click on "Test Connection" to see if the connection is successful.
If the connection is successful, click OK and a new database connection will be created and user will be able to access the list of data tables in the connected Tibco Data Virtualization database.
