Issue/Introduction
Can TIBCO Data Virtualization instances running on different Operating Systems form an Active Cluster?
Environment
All supported Operating Systems
Resolution
TIBCO Data Virtualization Active Cluster uses a share-nothing architecture, therefore TDV instances running on UNIX and Windows servers can form a cluster and share resources. Here are couple of recommendations: 1. All Cluster nodes must be running the same version and patch level of Active Cluster (TDV). 2. All TDV instances should have comparable operational characteristics: memory, number of CPUs, and CPU speed.
