Can clear text passwords in the server.xml file be encrypted?
Resolution
It is not possible to encrypt the clear-text passwords in the server.xml file. This is a Tomcat limitation. One workaround would be to secure access to the server folders and the keystore files, then grant access to only a few users and the user account that is running the Spotfire Server service.
