Description

Adding a TIBCO Spotfire Cloud Enterprise server URL into the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client's 'Manage Servers' dialog fails with following error.
ManifestWebException at Spotfire.Dxp.Services:
Could not connect to server 'https://<company>.spotfire-cloud.com/' to download manifest. Cannot connect to host '<company>.spotfire-cloud.com'. (HRESULT: 80131509)

Issue/Introduction

Not able to add TIBCO Spotfire Cloud Enterprise (TSCE) server URL to TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client.

Resolution

Try to open the TIBCO Spotfire Cloud Enterprise server URL in Internet Explorer. If it fails to reach the server URL, do the following​:
 
1) Open Internet Explorer
2) Open Internet Options
3) Select 'Advanced' tab
4) Scroll down to 'Security'
5) Enable 'Use TLS1.1' and 'Use TLS1.2'
6) Close Internet Explorer session

Start a new session of the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst Client and try to add the server URL again.
