Description

If you find that Citrix is not opening up a session when clicking on an app on Nimbus Cloud, it is likely that your .ica files have become associated to the incorrect application.

Issue/Introduction

Citrix Session is Not Opening from TIBCO Nimbus Cloud

Resolution

The following instructions are for Windows 10, but should be similar for Windows 7:
  1. Click on Start
  2. Type in Default Programs and select it from the start menu
  3. Click on "Choose default apps by file type".
  4. Locate the .ica extension.
  5. Ensure it is set to use Citrix Connection Manager and not Citrix Receiver
