Description

When closing a case in the TIBCO iProcess Engine (iPE) the close command appears to be successful but the case does not close. The sw_warn.log file reports messages similar to:

This indicates an issue with Procedure Events. The problem is caused by the procedure event cache that is allocated automatically not being set to zero. This is most likely to occur if events have been defined and subsequently deleted.

Issue/Introduction

Environment

Unix / Linux Not known if an issue on Windows or SQL and DB2 database variants.

Resolution

When using the utility command to close the case such as swutil, swbatch or SSOLite, the option to not trigger events should be used.
