Description
If you try to connect to an Excel file using an Excel 32 bit driver and the TIBCO Scribe® Online Agent is installed on a 64bit OS, you receive the following error.
Error: Unable to retrieve metadata, Error: [HYCOO][Microsoft] [ODBC Excel Driver]Optional feature not implemented

Issue/Introduction
Error trying to connect to an Excel file using an Excel 32 bit driver while the TIBCO Scribe Online Agent is installed on a 64bit OS
Resolution
You can resolve this issue one of two ways:
- Convert the excel file to a CSV file and use the Text as a Source Connector to access the file.
- Use a 32 bit Excel driver on a 32 bit OS or use a 64 bit Excel driver on a 64 bit OS.
