Description

If you are receiving numerous unneeded email alerts or your alert log in TIBCO Scribe® Insight is generating unneeded alerts you may have to adjust the alert settings within your integration processes.
 

Issue/Introduction

How to control Alerts generated by integrations in TIBCO Scribe® Insight

Resolution

If you would like to reduce or adjust the number of alerts you are receiving the first step would be to identify the integration/s that are generating these alerts. This can be done by navigating to the TIBCO Scribe® Console > Alert Log and looking at the Source column, here you will see the "Process Id" which correlates directly with the Integration Process ID in Integration Processes section of the Console.

Once you are able to identify the integration/s that are producing the excessive alerts the next step would be to modify the alert settings in that integration by navigating to Integration Processes > Selecting the Integration Process and clicking "Properties" > Navigate to Step 5 Alerting > Here you will either be able to turn off Alerts by selecting "Never generate Alerts" or modify the other settings to change the recipient group that receives the alerts or when to generate alerts to reduce the amount of alerts that are generated.
