a. Select "Data > Transform Data" from the main menu in the Spotfire desktop client
b. Select "Data Function" from the Transformations drop down list, and select Insert
c. Choose from the list of data functions saved in the library and select OK

Some of the data functions saved in the library may not be available for selection in this dialog.

Issue/Introduction

This article explains why some data functions are not listed in the Data Function Transformation dialog.

Environment

Resolution

If a particular data function is missing from this list, then it could be because that data function is not qualified to be used as a transformation. To use a data function as a transformation, the data function must use a single Spotfire data table as input and a single data table as output. There must be no other input parameters.
