A TIBCO Scribe Online Organization was created in error and needs to be deleted.

Issue/Introduction

Process for deleting a TIBCO Scribe Online Organization through the User Interface.

Resolution

There is a different process for child Organizations and normal Organizations. Child Organizations can be deleted through the TIBCO Scribe Online app. Normal Organizations cannot be deleted through the app, but Support can remove the Organization for you.

Child Organization
  1. In the TIBCO Scribe Online UI, navigate to the Parent Organization by selecting it from the Organization drop-down in the banner. The list of associated Child Organizations displays.
  2. Select the row for the Child Organization to be deleted.  The Gear icon displays on the right at the end of the row.
  3. From the Gear menu select Delete.

Normal Organization
  
  1. Create a case to notify support that you would like to them to delete the Organization.
  2. Invite the Support representative you are working with to the Organization as an administrator.
  3. Support will remove the Organization and confirm when that is done in a case update.
