The TIBCO Scribe® Online Agent and some TIBCO Scribe® Insight Adapters require specific versions of .NET Framework. Refer to the help for those products to determine which version of .NET Framework is required.  Use the instructions in this document to verify the version or versions you have installed.
 

Windows Control Panel

A simple method to verify if the correct .NET Framework version is installed is to look at the installed programs list in Control Panel > Programs and Features.
   

Registry

Use the registry information to determine which version(s) and service pack level(s) of the Microsoft .NET Framework are installed. To access and view registry entries:

1. Use the Search function in Windows to locate the regedit.exe program.
2. Run the program to open the Registry Editor.
3. In the Registry Editor, locate the Registry Key Name HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full .
4. In the right-hand panel, check for a DWORD value named Release. The existence of the Release DWORD indicates that the .NET Framework 4.5 or newer has been installed on the computer.

5. The value of the Release DWORD indicates which version of the .NET Framework is installed.
