If you are the owner of a Connector in TIBCO Scribe® Online, you may want to prevent a Connector from being used by a specific TIBCO Scribe® Online Organization. The best practice is to follow these steps.
For Public Connectors NOTE: You must have administrative access to the TIBCO Scribe® Online Organization to perform these steps.
Remove TIBCO Scribe® Online Access For UsersTo remove access for users, remove the users from the TIBCO Scribe® Online Organization. This prevents those specific users from accessing that Organization and eliminates access to the Solution and associated Connectors. Do this for every user from the customer on the child Organization.
Remove Integration AccessIf the data integration Solutions that use Connector are set to run automatically, they are operational and the Connector will still be used without a user logging in to access Solutions. To prevent the solutions from running, log in to the child Organization, then select Solutions from the Menu bar. Open each Solution and remove the check mark in the Enabled check box.
Uninstall The Connector From The OrganizationLog in to the Organization and select Marketplace. In the Marketplace, search for the Connector and select it, then select Uninstall.
For Private ConnectorsIf you have administrative access to the Organization that is using the Connector, you can follow the steps for Public Connectors. If it is a private Connector that you control, you can also remove access to the Connector from an Organization.
Remove Access To The Connector From The OrganizationIf the Connector is a private Connector that you manage, you can remove access to the Connector for any Organization that currently has access.
- From the Menu select More > Managed Connectors.
- Select a Connector from the list.
- From the Gear menu for that Connector select Edit Customer. The Edit dialog displays.
- Select the Customer to delete.
- From the Gear menu for that Customer, select Delete Customer. The Customer is deleted immediately. Users in this Organization no longer have access to that Connector.
Note: If there are any Solutions in this Organization using this Connector, an error displays in the Execution History whenever the Solution runs.
