Description

A TIBCO Scribe® Insight DTS is created to insert account records in CRM using the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Adapter for Dynamics 365 and CRM.  The DTS runs successfully until configured for bulk processing.  When configured to use bulk processing, the DTS fails with an error similar to the following:

    Error message: Bulk operation buffers exceeded. Too many rows attempted. –account

 
  • CRM connection > DTS Connection Settings > Adapter Settings > Use Dynamics CRM Bulk API is selected, and Query Batch Size is set to 100.
  • DTS > Configure Steps > Insert Step Operation > Use Bulk mode is selected, number of rows = 100

Issue/Introduction

TIBCO Scribe® Insight DTS runs successfully until configured for Dynamics 365 and CRM bulk processing. Known Defect. Workaround is to remove 2nd unused target connection.

Resolution

In Configure Steps, check for an additional target connection.  If there is a target connection that is not in use, remove the connection and save the DTS.  The DTS will now run successfully in Bulk Mode as expected.
