Description

Your CRM metadata may be corrupt, if you have not made any changes to your TIBCO Scribe® Online Solution, and you receive the following error:
 
Error : The following error has occurred in the Dynamics CRM Connector: There was an error deserializing the object of type Scribe.Core.ConnectorApi.Common.Cache. Unexpected end of file has occurred. The following elements are not closed: d7p1:FieldDefinition, d7p1:Fields, d7p1:EntityDefinition, d2p1:Value, d2p1:KeyValueOfstringanyType, d4p1:Configurations, d2p1:Value, d2p1:KeyValueOfstringanyType, CachedItems, Cache. Line 276045, position 1.

Issue/Introduction

Your CRM metadata may be corrupt, if you have not made any changes to your TIBCO Scribe® Online Solution, and you receive an error.

Resolution

Navigate to the CRM Connector folder on the Server where the TIBCO Scribe® Online Agent is installed and delete the Metadata.xml file. Path to the CRM folder is as follows:
 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Scribe Software\Scribe Online Agent\Connectors\Scribe.Adapter.Crm

  1. Log into TIBCO Scribe® Online.
  2. Navigate to the Connections page.
  3. Locate the Dynamics CRM Connection the Solution is using and select Reset Metadata from the Gear menu for that Solution.
  4. Wait a few minutes and run your Solution again.
