Encryption of RV messages
Issue/Introduction
Encryption of RV messages
Resolution
We offer encryption of RV messages and data between the client and the RV daemon using RVSD and RVSRD which is the communication between the client and its daemon done via SSL. If you are looking for encryption between RVDs ("RV messages"), RV uses the UDP protocol which does not have a separate layer such as SSL on top of TC{ that enables encryption.
The design of RVSD or RVSRD assumes that your daemon resides on a secure inner network, hence communications between daemons is not encrypted. On a non-secured network you can use SSL for communication between RVRD components.
