Description

Error received in the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Console when trying to create a new integration process. This case involved trying to create a queue based integration. After the DTS was selected and all steps were filled out, attempting to save the Integration generated the following error:

Error Adding Process. Translation Specification error – file not found

This error indicates that the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Console could not find the DTS even though it was available to be selected in the Console when setting up the Integration.

Issue/Introduction

Error displayed in the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Console when trying to create a new Queue Based Integration.

Resolution

  1. Copy the files in the Collaboration folder to another location.
  2. Delete the Collaboration folder.
  3. Create a new Collaboration folder.
  4. Placed the DTS files back in the new Collaboration folder.
  5. Create the integration process and it should now save properly.

In some cases another resolution is to remove the site from the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Console and then add the site back. This removes issues with the Collaboration folder or the DTS’s inside.
