Description

Issue/Introduction

Error "Keyset does not exist" while using X.509 certificate.

Environment

All supported environments

Resolution

The above issue can be resolved by re-importing the correct X.509 certificate to the local machine.

If re-importing the certificate does not resolve the issue, the following things must be checked.

- Make sure that the account running the Spotfire Server/Node Manager has access to this certificate.

- If a "PEM" certificate is used, make sure that the private key is imported along with the certificate and the account running the Spotfire Server and the Node Manager has access to the certificate and the private key. Also, make sure that the certificate and the private key are located at the same location.

- If the Spotfire Node Manager is running as a Service Account, make sure that the certificate is stored in the Local user certificate store (Personal Store). Whereas, if the Spotfire Node Manager is running as a Local System Account, make sure that the certificate is stored under Local machine certificate store (Computer Store).
