Description
Error when attempting to connect to Dynamics AX where the AOS is on a separate server from the .NET Business Connector: Error opening data source Scribe.AXAdapter.AXDatabase. Unable to log on to Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Issue/Introduction
Troubleshoot errors opening the TIBCO Scribe® Insight AX Adapter database.
Resolution
As of TIBCO Scribe® Insight Adapter for Microsoft Dynamics AX v1.2, if you are running in an environment where the Dynamics AX AOS is on a server separate from the .NET Business Connector, you will receive this error when connecting to Dynamics AX with the Use current user credentials option enabled.
When running in an environment where the Dynamics AX AOS is on a server separate from the .NET Business Connector you must uncheck the Use current user credentials option and provide user credentials.
