Description
If you see Windows event collection with Universal Collector fail with “parent directory already mounted” and with “exit code 1” when there is already a file pull created for the parent directory then there is a simple solution.
Example:
File pull1 - //windowsserver/share
File pull2 - //windowsserver/share/logs
The mount point for file pull2 errors with exit code 1 because it is the sub-directory of file pull1.

Resolution
The solution requires moving the sub-directory from under the parent directory. CIFS file pulls do not support parent and sub-directories to be mounted simultaneously.
