Description

Troubleshoot Dynamics AX Connection errors.

When connecting to Dynamics AX via the TIBCO Scribe Adapter for Dynamics AX, the following error is received:

Security Support Provider Interface (SSPI) authentication failed.

Resolution

Typically the resolution for this error is to edit the Scribe.AxServiceHost.exe.config file and set the server names in the base address section, which stores the URL, and the AOS Server section to be IP addresses, not named machines. When connecting to AX via the TIBCO Scribe Adapter for Dynamics AX, use the IP address in the URL as well.  The connection URL must match what is in the config file.

NOTE: TIBCO Scribe has sometimes seen the error when using an IP address and the config file had to be edited to contain the actual name of the machine.
