Description

The TIBCO Scribe Online Connector For Dynamics NAV no longer supports relationships. If you have existing Solutions that use the Dynamics NAV Connector and have relationships configured, you may see errors when previewing data or when executing those Solutions.
The error displayed below is generated when:
  • Dynamics NAV is the data Source
  • Relationships are configured on the Query Block General tab
  • Query Block Preview tab is selected
Preview failed: Exception Type : InvalidExecuteQueryException
Message : The following error has occurred in the Dynamics Nav Connector: Error: NotImplemented status code = 501. Not Implemented
 

Issue/Introduction

The TIBCO Scribe Online Connector For Dynamics NAV no longer supports relationships. If you have existing Solutions with Maps that use the Dynamics NAV Connector and have relationships configured, you may see errors when previewing data or when execution those Solutions.

Resolution

If you have configured a Map to use relationships from a Dynamics NAV source Connection, you should remove those relationships from the configuration to prevent further errors and allow the Solution containing the Map to execute.

To correct your configuration:
  1. In TIBCO Scribe Online, select More > Connections.
  2. Select your Dynamics NAV Connection.
  3. From the Gear menu for that Connection, select the Reset Metadata option. This clears the Relationship definitions from TIBCO Scribe Online.
  4. Navigate to the Solutions page and open the Solution containing the Map with Dynamics NAV relationships.
  5. Scroll down to the Maps section and open the Map with the relationships.
  6. Open the Query Block.
  7. On the Include tab, remove the check marks in the Select column for any relationships that were configured there.
  8. Click OK to save your changes to the Query Block.
  9. Save the Map and the Solution.
