Description

In the recent TCI upgrade on 27th/28th May the TCI endpoints exposed in the service registry has been changed to support future service registry improvements.

The change means if using LiveApps and an app designer selects a new service in a Data Service task then this will fail at runtime, unless the TCI Flogo application has been scaled.

The TCI update will not affect currently published apps, which will continue to work correctly.

This will only affect draft apps being worked on by the Live Apps designer if these are subsequently published.

Scaling the flogo app to 2 instances and back to 1 is sufficient to refresh the appropriate endpoints. This action is not service affecting.

This action can be applied at any time following the TCI upgrade and before any changes are made to Live Apps application Data Service tasks


Note: This change is applicable only to Live Apps applications that are using Data Service to connect to TCI Flogo

Resolution

Existing TCI apps used in LiveApps Integration need to be scaled up and back down again after TCI upgrade.

To scale select the TCI application, scale up your application so you have additional instances running, then immediately scale down your application to the desired number of instances running.
