Description

When a TIBCO Scribe® Online trial or subscription expires, TIBCO Scribe® decommissions the Cloud Agent associated with the Solutions.  However, the Metadata Agent is not decommissioned.

After an expired trial or subscription has lapsed, when a new subscription is added to the TIBCO Scribe® Online Organization, the Cloud Agent appears in the interface.  If you try to run a Map using that Cloud Agent, the error shown below occurs.

Issue/Introduction

After an expired trial or subscription has lapsed, when a new subscription is added to the TIBCO Scribe® Online Organization, the Cloud Agent appears in the interface and generates errors.

Resolution

  1. Install a TIBCO Scribe® Online On-Premise Agent.  For more information, see Installing A TIBCO Scribe® Online On-Premise Agent.
  2. Edit any Solutions using the Cloud Agent, to use the On-Premise Agent.  A Solution can only use one Agent. Switching your Solutions to the On-Premise Agent removes the association between the decommissioned Cloud Agent and those Solutions.
  3. Delete the Cloud Agent from the Organization.
  4. Provision a new Cloud Agent.  See Provisioning A TIBCO Scribe® Online Cloud Agent.
  5. Edit your Solutions to use the new Cloud Agent.
  6. If you want, uninstall the On-Premise Agent you installed earlier.  For more information, see Deleting An Agent.
