Description
Customer installed FTL 5.3.2 in a new Windows 2012 R2 environment. They got below error when running the ream server.
"The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-heap-|1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer."
Issue/Introduction
Customer failed to run the FTL ream server, the error is "The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-heap-|1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer."
Environment
Winodows 2012 R2
Resolution
The error indicates that the Visual Studio is not installed on the machine. For FTL 5.3.2, it requires VC14. Before installing VC14, please make sure the latest Windows update is installed. As the VC14 has dependencies on the Windows update.
