Description
According to the installation document of the TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter Framework 1.4.0, it is necessary to uninstall any earlier version of ActiveMatrix Adapter Framework before installing a new version. If the TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter Framework 1.4.0 is already installed without uninstalling the previous versions (for instance 1.3.x), the uninstall of the previous versions might failed.

Resolution
1 Uninstall all the installed TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter Framework. If there are any errors during the uninstall, please ignore them.
2 After the uninstall, please manually delete the folder <TIBCO_HOME>/afx and the folders under the path <TIBCO_HOME>/bw/palettes/aepalette/.
3 Reinstall TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter Framework 1.4.0
