Description

After launching the TIBCO iProcess Engine installer for version 11.6.1 it crashes.

The reason behind the failure is because of the pthread.dll. Even after copying the appropriate pthread.dll to C:\Windows\SysWow64 and adding the path of the pthread.dll to PATH Environment variable the installer was finding an incorrect pthread.dll on the system.

Environment

Product: TIBCO iProcess Engine Version: 11.6.1 OS: All Supported Windows Operating Systems

Resolution

Windows systems will search the local folder for .dll files before searching the PATH environment variable. Copy the pthread.dll to the local directory where the setup.exe file is located.  After copying the pthread.dll, run the setup.exe and it will launch the installer without any issue.
