Description
You will notice that the "/packages" folder is missing in the car file. There was a fix in 7.0.4.00.03 to remove the CDATA adapters from the backup car files. Because of this fix, if a customer is checking the "Overwrite" checkbox during import, it removes all the CDATA folders in the <install>/packages directory (on disk(install)), and subsequently all the relevant Datasources will disappear from Studio as well.

Resolution
The fix for this issue is in 7.0.5 Hotfix 04.
Other option is to Uncheck the overwrite checkbox during the car file import. That will retain the existing packages/datasources.
